SPAN: Spatial Pilot PANcreas

To develop workflows combining spatially resolved imaging of cells, single proteins and RNA molecules with droplet-based single-cell sequencing and morphology in the human pancreas.

Throughout this project, this group profiled more than 110,000 cells from six healthy donors and created a comprehensive pancreas cell atlas, as described in their preprint. Additionally, they have made their human pancreas CODEX data openly available.
