You will serve as a trusted legal partner embedded with science and AI teams across the organization and help teams navigate complex and evolving questions around data use, intellectual property, and AI law—providing practical guidance that enables innovation while managing risk.

You will work closely with the Procurement, Finance and Accounting Operations teams and be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating requirements into technical specifications, ensuring compliance with IT security standards, and implementing solutions.

You will help shape the product and application security that protects scientific and educational innovation at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative, Biohub and Learning Commons.

You will lead vendor security risk assessments and drive technical initiatives that strengthen CZI’s Third Party Security program — improving security tooling, processes, and cross-functional coordination across our vendor ecosystem.

You will serve as the executive leader responsible for the product vision, strategy, governance, and execution of CZI’s enterprise platforms across Finance, People, Grants, Contracts (Legal), and Brand & Communications.

You will be responsible for helping to prepare and review month end close transactions, assist in various projects and tasks such as internal reporting, process documentation, accounting memorandums, and audit support, and work with various teams at CZI and external partners including FP&A, Accounting Operations, Payroll, Corporate Accounting, Legal, Facilities, IT and external consultants.

You will play a key role in streamlining, securing, and optimizing our Procure to Pay management processes through Workday and Coupa. You will work closely with the Procurement, Finance and Accounting Operations teams and be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating requirements into technical specifications, ensuring compliance with IT security standards, and implementing solutions.

You will support scientists, researchers, and staff working in a life sciences laboratory environment, ensuring they have reliable and secure IT systems to enable their work.

You will own the day-to-day execution that turns plans into shipped work: running sprints, coordinating agency partners and in-house developers, managing releases, and keeping stakeholders aligned and informed.
