The Bay Area is such a special place, but it’s also facing big challenges. The future of our community depends on our ability to ensure that everyone can live, work, and succeed here.”

We work in service of a just Bay Area where people impacted by systemic racism and structural inequities have the assets and power to shape their community so that everyone thrives.

Our Work in the Bay Area

Our work is rooted in strong collaborations and alliances with the San Francisco Bay Area community. We partner closely with local organizations providing essential services—like housing, education, and job training—as well as groups that are increasing community power through organizational leadership and capacity-building programs. We also connect organizations and leaders so that they can collaborate, share knowledge, and identify collaborative responses to issues facing our community.

Whether it’s the Bay Area or elsewhere, community is about knowing the history, the people, and the culture, and feeling as though they are all woven together to create a fabric that makes everyone stronger.
