CZI Alumni Network
The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative launched in December 2015 after Mark and Priscilla’s oldest daughter Max was born. Today, we work on programs ranging from eradicating disease to improving education and addressing the needs of our local communities. We have grown from a small but mighty team into a community of builders — building new technology, partnership, and programs to ensure a more inclusive, just, and healthy future for everyone.
We believe our CZI alumni played a vital role in the creation and evolution of CZI, and we launched the Alumni Network because staying connected in a meaningful way will increase the impact we all want to achieve. The CZI Alumni Network is a place for current employees and alumni to build on existing relationships, make new connections, learn from each other, and share resources.
Wherever our alumni go in life, they belong to a community that is dedicated to building a better future for everyone.

This group is a place where Chan Zuckerberg Initiative employees and alumni can build on existing relationships, make new connections, learn from one another, and share resources.
In-Person Events
These events are intended to provide informal connections between CZI Alumni and current staff while also informing the alumni about our work.
Opportunities to Connect with our Programmatic Work
We will invite our alumni to participate in events with our current staff (e.g. Lunch & Learns, programmatic updates) to learn more about our issue areas and impact.
