Project
Individual Variability in Human Cell Type Transcriptomes and Epigenomes
Focus
Central Nervous System
Method
Epigenetic Sequencing
Project Summary
This project will identify inter-individual differences in molecular signatures of human brain cell types, including single cell transcriptomes and DNA methylomes.
Results & Resources
This group uncovered insights into brain cell transcriptomes and epigenomes from single-cell sequencing data. They optimized single-nucleus methylcytosine and transcriptome sequencing (snmCT-seq) methods for multimodal analysis, coupled with single-cell fusion analysis and DNA methylation analysis software, to aid in the characterization of the diversity of brain cell types.
