Research Software Alliance (ReSA)

The Research Software Alliance (ReSA) launched in 2018 to “bring research software communities together to collaborate on the advancement of research software.” They accomplish this through offering opportunities for community members representing multiple stakeholders to work together to achieve shared goals. ReSA members include more than 165 individual members across 56 organizations on a global scale (representing North and South America, Europe, India, APAC, and other regions) and continues to actively recruit a wider group of initiatives that support open science and/or open source software. Groups involved in ReSA include an international group of funders, policymakers, infrastructure organizations, and open science organizations.
