Unraveling Neuroimmune Interactions at the Single-Cell Level

Focus Neuroimmune

Project Summary

The immune and nervous systems extend throughout our bodies to sense and relay critical information from peripheral organs. Data suggests that these two systems often work together and are more interconnected than previously thought. This team will build tools that directly label, characterize, and manipulate the diversity of neuroimmune cell interactions. Researchers will test the utility of these tools in lung homeostasis, infection, and inflammation.
