You will play a key role in streamlining, securing, and optimizing our Payroll, Planning, and Absence management processes through the Workday platform. You will work closely with the Payroll, Finance, and Total Rewards teams and be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating requirements into technical specifications, ensuring compliance with IT security standards, and implementing solutions.

You will be an integral member of team LeGiT, focused on supporting CZI’s tax-exempt organizations, including Chan Zuckerberg Biohub, Inc. (Biohub), Learning Commons, Inc. (LC), and the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Foundation (CZIF). You will collaborate with scientists, educators, grantmakers, operations staff, and our partners across the enterprise to help ensure we remain in compliance with laws and regulations applicable to tax exempt organizations while pursuing our mission.

You will partner closely with the Senior Compensation Manager, as well as the People team, Finance, and Business Systems, to deliver high-impact compensation solutions aligned with organizational goals.

The Vice President of Business Systems will serve as the executive leader responsible for the product vision, strategy, governance, and execution of CZI’s enterprise platforms across Finance, People, Grants, Contracts (Legal), and Brand & Communications.
