You will play a key role in streamlining, securing, and optimizing our Payroll, Planning, and Absence management processes through the Workday platform. You will work closely with the Payroll, Finance, and Total Rewards teams and be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements, translating requirements into technical specifications, ensuring compliance with IT security standards, and implementing solutions.

You will play a key role in further developing a high functioning team to streamline, secure, and enhance our HR systems, including Workday, Greenhouse, and VNDLY. You will work closely with the People team to create employee experiences leveraging process, technology, and enablement to deliver impact.

You will guide the development of AI-driven virtual cell models that predict and generate novel cell states, leveraging CZI's significant investment in computational infrastructure (including a 1000 H100 GPU cluster) and unparalleled biological datasets. You'll devise and execute strategies to build generative AI models that learn the "accessible space" and predict cell types, structure, function, and dynamics—all while maintaining rigorous experimental validation and addressing biologically relevant questions that currently defy available methodologies.

You will develop and maintain the tooling and infrastructure that drives the entire data lifecycle at CZI, from ingestion and processing to secure storage and access. Your work will directly support cutting-edge research, AI model training, and data analysis across the organization.

You will manage a team of data scientists who are embedded in cross-functional, AI-modeling focused teams and are responsible for leading dataset definition and delivery to support modeling work. Success is measured by the speed with which datasets are available, the ease with which they can be used, the suitability of the dataset to address the modeling task, and the clarity with which data quality is available to the research team. As a manager of a small team, this role will be a player/coach position. Your individual contributions will focus on defining a strategic, integrated dataset design sufficient to realize a Virtual Cell Model, and to ensure that the individual datasets your team creates for each modeling project each create measurable progress towards the integrated design.

You will lead the charge to drive the strategy and execution of CZI's AI/ML security program, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

You will directly manage two Accounting Operations accountants, and will be responsible for the management of the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Operations team

You will play a key role in priority enterprise-level initiatives, influence security across our organization, and drive the implementation of our Information Security strategy. We are looking for a TPM with a proven track record of developing and shipping high-quality technologies and services and integrating them into products and experiences. This role will have the opportunity to work closely with partners across the Chan Zuckerberg Organization, aligning with CZI’s Security policies and practices. The role will help evolve a security program that enables CZI staff to protect sensitive information in an active and robust environment and adhere to security measures.

You will proactively focus on setting the direction and developing and executing the operational strategy that optimizes our resources across education. In this role, you'll be a key leader within our Education team, responsible for developing and executing the operational strategy that maximizes our impact on students and educators. You'll collaborate closely with Education leadership, product, engineering, and partnerships to ensure alignment, drive efficient decision-making, and accelerate the delivery of transformative solutions.

You will collaborate closely with social media managers, digital marketers, and other stakeholders across the organization to execute storytelling opportunities across our institutes and programs.
