To expand the capabilities and improve the robustness and maintainability of the salmon software ecosystem, further widening its scope of applicability and improving the user and developer experience.
Project
This project aims to modernize, improve and expand the set of open source tools in the salmon ecosystem (SE), whose core tools comprise cuttlefish, pufferfish, salmon, and alevin-fry. The goal is to improve SE’s support for analysis on large reference collections and new bulk and single-cell sequencing technologies.
