Multiplex Strategies for Fluorescence and Imaging Mass Cytometry for Image-Based Analyses
Focus
Technology Development
Project Goal
To refine and couple a method for the co-detection of several DNA, RNA and protein labels in the same cells with imaging tools that can assay dozens of labels concurrently.
Results & Resources
The goal of this grant project was to extend prior work on hyperspectral imaging using a MUSE system that amplified and multiplexed single-molecule RNA and enabled protein, built around using a combination of advanced optics for light microscopy and engineering probes and oligonucleotides to enable multiplexed detection. Future work will deliver the technology for community use.
