Rapid Exploration, Interpretation, and Comparison of Discrete Basis Vectors Contributing to Transcriptional Signatures of Single-Cells
Focus
Latent Spaces
Project Goal
To develop and benchmark rapid transfer learning methods to interrogate biological and technical basis vectors across experiments at the Human Cell Atlas scale.
Results & Resources
The Goff lab, in collaboration with Elana Fertig’s lab, developed and released ProjectR, an R package that facilitates transfer learning-based comparisons between disjoint datasets and data types. Their preprint describes the application of CoGAPS (Fertig lab) and ProjectR to rapidly explore shared latent spaces across datasets and cellular measurement types.
