The Morris lab developed a tool to label cells with an index (CellTag) delivered via lentiviral transduction. Many resources for this workflow have been made available, including protocols, CellTag libraries, a visualization tool for exploration, the data produced and used for the visualization, a computational workflow, and a preprint describing their work.
