Chan Zuckerberg Initiative Announces 2025 Community Fund Grantees
Today, the newest cohort of local nonprofit partners has been selected to receive support through the Community Fund. Now in its ninth year, the Community Fund supports organizations working across San Mateo County, California, to increase access to the building blocks of economic and community well-being.
This year’s grantees will receive two-year grants of up to $200,000, supporting them in advancing solutions and building a thriving San Mateo County. Our newest partners focus their efforts in housing, healthcare, education, job and career skills, and other social supports.
Since 2017, the Community Fund has invested more than $34 million in over 200 local organizations, supporting initiatives that provide vital services and strengthen community voice.
“We are honored to partner with this year’s grantees, who are meeting urgent needs and creating long-term opportunities across San Mateo County,” said Alma Pulido, who leads the Community Fund. “Their dedication, creativity, and resilience inspire us — and we’re committed to ensuring they have the flexible support needed to continue driving meaningful change in our communities.”
