Project
3D Structured Illumination Microscopy Processing with GPU Acceleration
Award
napari Plugin Foundation
Project Summary
Structured illumination microscopy (SIM) is a key enabling technology to map protein expression in cells and tissues with high resolution. The napari-sim-processor plugin provides SIM reconstruction with GPU acceleration — but only some of the possible SIM modalities are currently implemented.
This project aims to extend the capability of the plugin, including 3D SIM for enhanced resolution in three dimensions. It will also provide a general platform where new SIM reconstruction modalities can be easily implemented, texted, and validated.
