Project
Drift Correction in Time-lapse Imaging with napari-correct-drift
Award
napari Plugin Foundation
Project Summary
In time-lapse imaging, a motorized microscope repeatedly captures images at specified positions for a long period of time. Due to error propagation in odometry, microscope images can exhibit ‘drift’, causing the sample to move or appear to move.
This project will create the first napari plugin to address drift correction, inspired by Fiji’s Correct-3D-Drift macro, with improved key frame selection, maximum drift cut-offs and outlier handling.
