I chose to direct my Life of Service gift to Fresh Artists, an organization that directly addresses shortages of funding for arts in public schools and provides opportunities for students to be creative and also to be philanthropists and stewards of their work. Fresh Artists empowers teachers to change the lives of their students, and brings visibility to the importance of arts education and expression for young people at a formative time in their lives.

Through my work both inside and outside of CZI, I appreciate having opportunities to support other mission oriented organizations that are focused on childrens’ health, arts and education programs. Especially those concerned with equitable and open access to information.
