Oasis Legal Services’ mission of helping LGBTQ+ immigrants escape violence and persecution based on their sexuality and gender deeply resonates with me, as my privileges and opportunities are a result of many brave individuals who fought for our rights. Oasis Legal Services’ mission aligns with my hope for a world where LGBTQ+ folks can live in their truth without discrimination, fear, and violence.

My role at CZI enables me to help teachers meet their students’ diverse needs; outside of this, I have been involved in a local nonprofit, Minds Matter, that supports students with college and career readiness.
