Gift Type Life of Service Gift

I thought about my Life of Service gift for months before the time came. I knew I wanted to help at least one of my daughter’s schools. When I learned how deep the need was at her former elementary I decided to dedicate the full gift there. Between spring and summer of 2022 I helped the school set up a 501c3 parent-teacher-student org so that they could be ready to receive the Life of Service gift in September; on top of that gift, CZI’s volunteer time off and volunteer matching rewards helped make it possible for me to do this work and serve my community.

Supporting public education has been a huge part of my life since my daughter started school. I followed her from kindergarten through high school, volunteering all along the way; she’s in college now and I’ve returned full-circle to volunteer in her elementary school again.

Since joining the CZI Education team in 2019, there have been many opportunities for me to take what I learn from work to school and back. It’s been an amazing experience to have two such important parts of my life converge.
