The impact positive teacher-student relationships have on students’ personal and professional growth is tremendous.

A new survey of more than 1,000 educators finds that one-on-one teacher-student connections help students feel included, engaged and motivated in school. Of the students who indicated having a strong relationship with a teacher more than 70% said they pay attention or participate in class more and look forward to and enjoy class.
