Communities of Practice
Expanding participation and access to the scientific process is a critical component of CZI Science’s mission. We want to empower a population of researchers and contributors as large and representative as possible, regardless of their affiliation, background, or country of origin. One way we are working towards this goal is by partnering with organizations that foster Communities of Practice for underrepresented groups in science and technology. These groups are grassroots efforts to bring together communities of underrepresented individuals into the scientific computing space, expanding the audience and contributor base of these communities.
