RRIDs, identifiers for research resources; a new way to link papers and improve resource findability as well as reproducibility

SciCrunch’s goal is to work with publishers to improve scientific literature. One of our tools is SciScore, which works with journals during the publication process to improve the descriptions of the science being done, a sort of spell checker for scientific methods, and shows authors where there may be missing information such as identifiers for antibodies or plasmids, where they have typos in URLs, or where they may unknowingly be using a problematic cell line. The tool helps authors prepare a more transparent and accurate methods section.
