High-Resolution Profiling of Body Fat Immune Cells in Brazilian Populations

To study how obesity manifests differently in diverse global populations, this team will perform a high-resolution analysis of immune cell populations. The samples, from lean and obese Brazilians, will come from various body fat deposits with different functions. This work aligns with other CZI-supported efforts to profile body fat tissue from diverse populations around the world, including those in Germany, Israel, and New Zealand.
