Statistical Methods for Characterizing Gene Regulatory Networks from Single-Cell Sequencing Data

Focus Cell States

Project Goal

To develop statistical methods that can be applied to single-cell RNA-sequencing data to quantify molecular mechanisms at the level of individual cells.

Results & Resources

This project’s overall goal was to develop statistical methods that can be applied to single-cell high-throughput sequencing data to quantify molecular mechanisms at the cellular level. They published a statistical method used to infer the gene regulatory networks from single-cell RNA-sequencing data and implemented this method into commonly used programming languages for open-source use.
