A Pilot Tertiary Analysis Portal for the Human Cell Atlas
Project Goal
To lay the foundations of an open tertiary analysis platform and visualization portal by delivering a set of prototype workflows and a proof-of-concept data portal to serve as an example of best practices for future extension and development.
Results & Resources
The Meyer lab, in collaboration with Irene Papatheodorou’s group, developed a Galaxy-based interactive computation platform for the tertiary analysis of single-cell RNA-seq data. The platform allows flexible construction of analysis workflows by linking computation steps, such as pre-processing, clustering and differential expression analysis, in a drag-and-drop fashion. Additionally, they have created pre-made workflows and implemented data retrieval from the Human Cell Atlas Data Coordination Platform matrix service and Single-Cell Expression Atlas.
