Comparative Workbench for Atlas Data

To develop software for an atlas framework enabling image integration, annotation and analysis, including tools for the clinical domain expert with sharing of image data and comparative analysis of normal and diseased tissues across species.

The Burger lab contributed to the development of the Comparative Workbench Tool, which provides a new software system for pathologists to organize images along with a broad range of biological data. The workbench is a visual analysis tool, modeled on the concept of a spreadsheet, but for image and other biomedical data visuals coupled with manual and automated analysis. The source code for the workbench is openly available.
