To develop technologies and establish best practices for the Human Cell Atlas, in which antibody-based methods pioneered within the Human Protein Atlas program will be combined with new technologies in the field of single-cell proteomics and genomics.
Results & Resources
A collection of protocols are now available regarding sample preparation for single-nuclei sequencing, standardized immunohistochemical staining, and targeted mass spectrometry using QPrests. They have generated single-cell genomic and bulk profiles, extensive imaging and an understanding of variation in the human pancreas and brain, as well as mass spectrometry data on these tissues to guide further work.
