The Draft Human Immune Census

To use multiplexed single-cell RNA-sequencing to construct a provisional version of the Human Immune Census across three ethnicities and to develop a new suite of computational tools to analyze the resulting data.

The Ye lab developed experimental and computational tools to perform and analyze multiplexed single-cell RNA-seq and CITE-seq, data for which is openly available. They also developed computational tools demuxlet and freemuxlet which allow for deconvoluting single-cell transcriptomic data based on natural genetic variants, even without extra genotyping of biological samples.
