Mapping Cells and Interactions in the Thymus Across Development and Aging

Focus Lymphoreticular
Method Epigenetic Sequencing, Multiomics, Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Genomics, Spatial Proteomics

Project Summary

This project brings together scientists with broad and complementary expertise to generate a comprehensive cell atlas of the human thymus across development and aging.

Results & Resources

This group generated bulk RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, and ChIP-seq datasets of the human postnatal thymus, as well as a single-cell RNA-seq dataset of human CD34+ thymocytes. They developed an approach to integrate multimodal data to classify the cell pairs and used this approach to integrate single-cell RNA-seq and single-cell ATAC-seq data across the developmental trajectory of the human fetal thymus.
