Project
Single Cell Transcriptomic and Epigenomic Features of the Human Vasculature
Focus
Method
Epigenetic Sequencing, Single Cell Transcriptomics
Project Summary
The purpose of this project is to create an atlas of single cell transcriptomic and epigenomic features of the human vasculature to define the cellular composition and key regulatory features of these vessels.
Results & Resources
This work aimed to locate regulatory sequence motifs and understand their impact on gene expression. They explored long noncoding RNA’s trait associations and quantitative trait loci mapping across two manuscripts. Using their computational expertise, they developed BPNet, a neural network trained on functional genomics data like ChIP-nexus or ChIP-seq, and Nimnexus, to efficiently process ChIP-seq data.
