Deep Learning-based Image Restoration and Segmentation

This team will engineer turnkey plugins for existing tools to encourage the work of biologists using napari who may not have substantive coding abilities. The group will integrate two deep learning-based tools for image restoration (Point-Scanning Super-Resolution, or PSSR) and segmentation (Local Shape Descriptors, or LSDs). Complete implementation includes coding the plugins, validating the output, and assisting with the onboarding and training of biologists to confirm the usability of these plugins for non-computer scientists.
