Human-In-The-Loop Cell Tracking in napari

Cell tracking is a fundamental challenge in bioimage analysis and critical for many cell biology problems. In the past decade, tremendous efforts have been made to develop fully automated cell segmentation and tracking algorithms. However, there are still many cell images that cannot be analyzed fully automatically due to overlapping or tightly packed cells. 

Existing napari plugins focus either on incorporating automated algorithms for large-scale processing or visualizing the lineages and tracks in napari. This project will further the cell tracking arsenal within napari by developing a plugin for efficient 2D and 3D human-in-the-loop cell segmentation, tracking, visualization, and analysis.
