Diversifying Science Journalism

We need diverse voices at the table to make science work for everyone. We support efforts by the University of California, Santa Cruz to increase diversity, inclusion, and representation in its science journalism program. The university’s Science Communication Master’s program is the only graduate science writing program in the U.S. that requires a degree in science and firsthand experience in research.
