Inflammation in Pediatric Pulmonary Diseases

Many children with lung disease are diagnosed with various conditions, including lower respiratory tract infections, wheeze, and idiopathic pulmonary disease, where information is lacking about the cause of the disease or the cells involved. This project will collect samples from children diagnosed with these diseases and perform single-cell analysis to clarify underlying molecular and cellular features that are similar, or different, in order to prioritize treatments and future studies.
