Project
A Female Reproductive Cell Atlas
Focus
Reproductive
Method
Epigenetic Sequencing, Single Cell Transcriptomics, Spatial Genomics
Project Summary
This project will characterize all cell types in the healthy female human reproductive tract using single cell RNA and ATAC sequencing and integrate transcriptomic and epigenetic information.
Results & Resources
This group developed efficient tissue transport and processing protocols, including a Human Fallopian Tube and Ovary Dissociation protocol, to create a comprehensive atlas of the female genital tract. With this technique, they performed single-cell RNA-sequencing and single-cell ATAC-sequencing data on ovary and fallopian samples from eight donors and developed dMatch, an integration tool to extract biological insights from multiple distinct single-cell RNA-sequencing experiments.
