BAYCAT Youth’s Questions & Hopes for Our Future

Share

What concerns and excites the next generation about their future?

We teamed up with BAYCAT, a nonprofit media production company that aims to educate, empower and employ diverse and low-income young people from historically underserved neighborhoods in the Bay Area.

Ramses, a 20-year-old aspiring filmmaker, lead a team of local BAYCAT-ers to come to our offices in Redwood City and ask our team questions, share their concerns, ideas, and hopes for the future.

My name is Ramses. I’m 20-years-old. I’m a filmmaker. And I often wonder what the future has in store for people like me.

Ramses Mosley-Wise, Creative Producer at BAYCAT

What we’re tackling in science, education, and furthering justice and opportunity are at the top of these youth’s minds when they think about the kind of challenges they face, opportunities they’d like to have, and what the future can look like for them. Our next generation of dreamers, thinkers, and doers, are often the best people to listen to and learn from!
