Proposal Summary
To develop extensive functionality, expand user support, and facilitate interoperability for Seurat, an open source R toolkit for integrative single-cell analysis.
Project
Open source software has revolutionized the field of single-cell biology, enabling tens of thousands of users to adopt and analyze cutting-edge single-cell sequencing technologies. This project will extend the open source toolkit Seurat for the analysis, exploration, and integration of single-cell datasets. This includes adding support for diverse multimodal assays, developing computational infrastructure to enable the analysis and exploration of millions of cells, and ensuring that the software is well-documented and interoperable.
