Proposal Summary
To extend Galaxy, a web-based computational workbench used by thousands of scientists across the world, so that it can analyze large datasets and connect with other analysis tools.
Project
Galaxy is a web-based, open source computational workbench used by thousands of scientists across the world for a variety of biomedical data analyses, including genomics, proteomics, image processing, and systems biology. A vibrant Galaxy community has deployed hundreds of Galaxy servers across the world, including more than 150 public and three large national servers. The three national servers alone have more than 250,000 registered users who execute more than 500,000 analysis jobs each month.
