Jim Shelton:  Congratulations to my colleague and friend, Dr. Bror Saxberg, who leads our work in learning science at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative and gave the 2018 Simon Initiative Distinguished Lecture this year. He spoke about the importance and potential of better understanding how students learn, and letting those principles help drive the solutions and tools we build to support teachers as they work to meet student needs.
