What does a true sense of belonging look like?
We believe the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative should be a place that truly embodies the values of our work. And we know from experience that the strongest teams are diverse ones, that incorporate and uplift a wide range of voices. To help build a more just, equitable future, we need people from all different backgrounds, who can challenge each other’s assumptions with fresh perspectives.
We want to do our part to dismantle systemic inequality and champion equal opportunity, actively seeking to hire those from historically marginalized groups. But just as importantly, we strive to push beyond mere diversity, to create a workplace where everyone feels—and is—welcomed, respected, supported, and valued for who they truly are.
