Rare Diseases International

Rare Diseases International (RDI) is a global alliance working to achieve equity for the over 300 million people living with a rare disease, their families, and loved ones worldwide. RDI advocates for rare diseases on an international scale, coordinating joint action to spark international policy change and implementation, including the adoption of the first-ever UN Resolution on Persons Living with a Rare Disease and their Families.

With support from CZI and others, RDI leads the Collaborative Global Network for Rare Diseases, an initiative engaging the global rare disease community to develop a network of specialized care that will improve access to timely diagnosis and expertise for all people living with a rare disease around the world.
